Zone confortable
The score is mainly characterized by the algorithmic approach of the instrumental writing. Starting from this angle, wrting music becomes more a codification of different instruction, for manipulating musical parameters (pitch, duration, etc.), in a language understood by a computer. In Zone confortable, several rythmic sequences coming from recording of barking dogs are taken as raw material to be manipulated through a computer program.
By insistence and accumulation, the austere or more royster qualities of the barking dog's sequences are celebrated and puted to the foreground in order to serve
large scale narrativ strategies.
